The Oaks
As design and construction of the Oaks Dining Hall at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) was underway, Nvironment was commissioned to make sense of the multi-functional office spaces needed within a LEED Gold Certified Dining Center
Nvironment managed the programming for the FF&E project while conscious of budgetary constraints. Precision timing with manager interviews, coordinating multiple department needs, and taking a headcount to ensure the new layout met all the project requirements was crucial.
Another wrinkle in the project was the downsizing of the varied personnel needing this 3,700 sqft office space. A creative approach to storage needs allowed Nvironment to comfortably reposition the group into their new, smaller space.
A food-inspired palette of citrus yellows, oranges, and lime green topped off the design. This livened the space by complimenting the open floor plan and windows bordering one side of the building; daylighting illuminating these intense colors with a sun-like quality.
